Hello everyone! Hope this new year has brought lot of positive
change, hope ,happiness ,joy in everyone
of you. As the festival season is on light, lets talk about the festival of
kites.
In New Delhi, The national Green Tribunal (NGT) imposed on
Tuesday a complete ban on manjha (kite string) made of nylon or any
non-biodegradable synthetic material as it poses a threat to humans, animals,
birds and is harmful for the environment.
The reason why we shouldn’t be using it because,
Manjha being coated with glass, metals and other sharp material, these strings act as good conductors of electricity, increasing the probability of detached manjha strings get stuck in power line electrocuting kite flyers and passers by coming into contact with these strings. It is also said that children were engaged by the cottage industry for the manufacture of manjha which was causing respiratory problems as they were inhaling harmful substances hazardous to their health.
So let's not use the synthetic manja and celebrate a eco friendly kite festival.
Let us all bury the ego, attitude, hatred towards one another and bring in peace, harmony and happiness around us. There is no harm in saying sorry even when it is not your mistake, to save a friendship or a relationship. The only key to happiness in life is being humble and kind to everyone around you. Remember kindness always comes back!
While flying kites your main goal is to cut down all other kites so that your kite is in the sky. Rather if you concentrate on only your kite and see to that it flies so high that nobody can reach so high and you will reach your goal.
Likewise, In life we see many friends or relatives of ours achieving their goals and dreams and feel jealous, instead of thinking about them if we concentrate on our own life we can achieve everything what we want. It may take time but if you do hardwork you will reach your goal for sure.
Let’s keep in mind the above things and act accordingly and
celebrate a eco friendly Kite festival. Let your hope also fly as high as your
kite in the sky. Let the happiness spread all over the world. Let this begin
with a bright smile on all of your faces!
