#Virtualdiwali

Hey everyone ,hope everyone is safe and happy! I am back with a new concept for this Diwali. Let us not burst crackers and promote a safe environment. Now, let us understand how can we do this and why do we need to do this.

Firstly let us understand why do we need to promote a #nocrackersdiwalifor2020. It is because we all are aware of the covid 19 pandemic from past 8 months. We all are home quarantined and have gone through so much. “Pat your back” cauz you are doing great and we have all done this together by staying home and taking the necessary precautions, and have entered the month of November. I understand we all have had a hard time this year. We faced it and didn’t run away from it and we did it.

During the pandemic the covid 19 patients and their families had a really tough time. Let us make this Diwali a better one for them by not bursting crackers because a person when the corona virus enters their body the first organ which gets affected is their lung. In critical COVID-19 -- about 5% of total cases -- the infection can damage the walls and linings of the air sacs in your lungs. As your body tries to fight it, your lungs become more inflamed and fill with fluid. This can make it harder for them to swap oxygen and carbon dioxide.

Doctors are discouraging the use of crackers this Diwali as it may help the virus to spread rapidly by generating more aerosols in the environment. Also, lungs of those who have recovered from Covid are still in a compromised state and many have developed lung fibrosis. The crackers will add more polluting and harmful gases in the environment that may aggravate problems of such patients. If doctors are discouraging use of crackers, people should avoid using it as it may threaten lives of people having lung ailments. (source: Times of India)

Now let’s understand how can we do this.

Its very simple, you can light diya’s , have a nice family time, play board games instead of burning crackers or play outdoor games with your siblings . At night  you can go on to your terrace and watch the beautiful sky. Try doing this trust me you wont regret.

Have a happy day!
